It is a violation of federal and state law to discriminate in employment, housing and public accommodations because of race, religion, national origin, gender or disability. Broward County ordinances provide further protection based on sexual orientation, marital status or political affiliation. The time limits to file charges are short, so be sure to contact this office immediately if you have been the victim of discrimination.
